Breakout Groups 1:15-1:50 PM EST
Any attendee may choose from the first two groups. The third group will be for CEOs only for a wide range of topics, although CEOs may choose from the other groups. We will provide breakout codes and receive your notes via Menti.com—a free, online service—so it would be helpful for you to have it open in a separate browser window in advance).

We encourage attendees to visit in advance of this session LGBTQPresidents.org/Events and review past LGBTQ Leadership Institutes. What more would you like our overall organization to do to support LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education in particular?
We will form breakout groups by leadership level, e.g., chair, dean, director, AVP, VP. We will provide breakout codes and receive your notes via Menti.com, so it would be helpful for you to have it open in a separate browser window in advance. Board members of LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education will facilitate the groups and report back to the whole group.
Breakout groups will meet from 2:05-2:50 PM EST. Then, there will be 10 minutes for reporting. We will record your feedback and the Board will consider it while planning in the future.

Winter Board Meeting 3–4 PM EST
Please note that all members of LGBTQ Presidents & Leaders are welcome to attend, however only board members will be recognized by the co-chairs.

    • Operations under our informal strategic plan & how to move forward with current plan
    • Suggestions for online annual report
    • Update on Board & committee membership
      • Daniel Lopez has been nominated for Board membership for the fifth at-large position. Are there any other nominations?
      • Mel Netzhammer has volunteered to chair the Governance & Nominating Committee. Susan Henking is willing to serve as a committee member. Are there any other volunteers?
      • Susan Henking has volunteered to serve on the Program Committee for the ’22 LGBTQ Leadership Institute. Are there any other volunteers?
      • Any LGBTQ President or Leader may serve on committees. Please volunteer via Zoom’s ‘chat’ function.
